12 FREE T-shirt Sewing Patterns for Every Sewist
Time for another free sewing pattern round-up! In this blog post, I will be going through 12 FREE T-shirt sewing patterns for every kind of sewist. Whether you are a beginner who is new to sewing with knits or a seasoned sewist who wants a fun and easy Sunday afternoon project, there’s something for everyone!
For some odd reason, I don’t sew with knits often. This retro-style top here is the last time I sewed with knits. But, I am planning on changing that this year so I decided to look into free T-shirt sewing patterns that are available on the internet. Hopefully, this little round-up of sewing patterns will get both you and I inspired to sew more T-shirts!
There's a free t-shirt sewing pattern for every sewist!
If you are a beginner sewist and new to the idea of sewing with stretchy fabrics, grabbing one of these free patterns will be a great, risk-free way to get started. Honestly, knits get a bad rap and shouldn’t! Beginner sewing really shouldn’t only be limited to wovens (e.g., cotton). In fact, you want to start experimenting with different fabrics as soon as you feel comfortable. Otherwise, you might get stuck with just sewing with wovens for a long long time… *cough cough* (speaking from experience).
If you are a more experienced sewist and want to try something simple as a palate cleanser between more challenging projects or just want an easy project that can be completed in a single day, then you’d want to check out one of these patterns too!
