Free SVG File for Hybrid Face Mask Pattern

The internet is a wonderful place! Earlier this month, Jordan Sutherland (Instagram: @jordanthesnail) reached out to me via email and generously shared the SVG and Ai file she created for the Hybrid Face Mask pattern. She used her Cricut to cut out the Hybrid Face Mask pattern and thought that some face mask makers would love to have the file to use with their cutting machines too! So here's the free SVG file for my Hybrid Face Mask pattern, created by Jordan.

Please note that this SVG file contains the template for the Hybrid Face Mask in its original size. Follow the original step-by-step photo tutorial on my blog to learn how to sew the Hybrid Face Mask. If you're a video learner, I also have a video tutorial on how to make the face mask on Youtube.

Some of my Hybrid Face Masks

Here are some of the Hybrid Face Masks that I have recently made for myself with a modification to attach sewn-in soft elastic with an adjustable stopper.

Fabrics: blue gingham polycotton exterior, blue floral quilting cotton interior

Fabrics: beige floral polycotton exterior, pink polycotton + lightweight non-woven iron-on interfacing interior

This pattern works best with 2 (or 3) layers of quilting cotton to give it a bit of structure. If you're short of quilting cotton, try to use at least 1 layer of quilting cotton. You can opt to use polycotton or cotton for the second layer. I have also made this with 2 layers of dress-weight cotton / polycotton fabric with a non-woven iron-on interfacing added to the inner layer of the mask.

Jordan mentioned that she used this SVG file for her Cricut. Let me know if this also works for your other cutting machines!
